Wednesday, July 1, 2009 Just came home from Atoka, TN We had an unscheduled visit with Family in Atoka, TN.  Three happy nights, warm swim days, listening to "The Word", getting to understand Naruto (of course I will never understand Japanese) and lots of food (love that Mongolian).  To Seattle-Happy Birthday Celeste! 5:47 pm est Sunday, June 21, 2009 We are here! For two weeks we have enjoyed the Brown Family Rolling Reunion, with all five of my kids and their families, that gathered at our house for Great Grandma Ollie's 90th birthday. Welcome to the Art Explorer's Diary Here is where I tell you about my website - a brief opening that will always stay here in this spot. I want to give you all a big "Hello" from Kathleen Brown Lokay and welcome you to The Diary of the Art Explorer. This is my first attempt at building a website and I'm feeling quite a bit of stress but determined to get this thing up and running. Anyway, I'm a happy painter using watercolors, acrylics, and oil based paints as well as inks, colored pencils and anything else I can find to make marks.  I have been showing my work locally in various shows through several art organizations and at several galleries.
